A lightweight, hand-operated machine that applies cold applied corrosion and mechanical protection tapes with constant tension and a uniform overlap.
What is the Manual Tape Wrapping Machine?
The YTM Makina Manual Tape Wrapping Machine is a modular, hand-operated tool for applying cold applied tape coatings on pipes from 4″ (DN 100). Tape overlap and tape tension are both adjustable, making correct, uniform application faster and easier than hand wrapping.
It is available in two versions: Basic, for tapes without interleave film, and Complete, with an automatic film collector for 3-ply tapes with interleave film. Both versions are interchangeable with the corresponding accessories and accept 41 mm and 76 mm tape cores.

Before you start
- Make sure there is enough free space around the pipe for the machine to rotate.
- Check that the tape width (≤ 150 mm) and core size (41 / 76 mm) match the machine.
- Clean adhesive and primer residues from the shaft, wheels and rollers after use.

How it works
- MountAdjust the wheel position to the pipe diameter and place the machine on the pipe.
- LoadInsert the tape roll on the shaft (Complete: film side down and fasten the interleave film to the collector).
- SetAdjust the advance angle for the required overlap and set the tape tension.
- WrapRotate the machine around the pipe for a uniform spiral wrap at constant tension.

What is the difference between Basic and Complete?
The Complete version adds an automatic collector that winds up the interleave film of 3-ply tapes. Otherwise both versions are identical and interchangeable with accessories.
