Cookie Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. The YTM Makina website uses a small number of them. This page lists every cookie we actually use, what it does, and which ones need your permission.
Essential cookies
These are required for the website to function and are set automatically. They involve no tracking and, under data protection law, need no consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| session_id | Keeps your browsing session working: page navigation and secure form submission. | Odoo (our website platform) | up to 3 months |
| frontend_lang | Remembers the website language. | Odoo | session |
| website_cookies_bar | Stores the cookie choice you made, so we do not ask you again. | Odoo | about 1 year |
| __cf_bm, cf_clearance | Security and bot protection at our network edge. | Cloudflare | up to 30 minutes / 1 year |
Optional cookies (analytics and advertising)
These are set only after you accept them in the cookies bar. Until then the Google tags run in a consent-less mode that stores no cookies and sends no identifiers. If you choose "Only essentials", none of the cookies below are created.
| Cookie | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4: counts visits and pages viewed so we can see which products and pages are useful. Data is aggregated; IP addresses are not stored. | Google Ireland Ltd. | up to 2 years |
| _gcl_au, _gcl_aw | Google Ads: recognises whether a visit came from one of our advertisements, so we can measure that advertising and stop what does not work. | Google Ireland Ltd. | 90 days |
Both are loaded through Google Tag Manager. Google's own notice is at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
Local storage
Your quote list (the sizes and quantities you add on product pages) is kept inside your own browser using localStorage, not a cookie. It never leaves your device unless you submit the quote form, in which case it accompanies your message. You can clear it at any time from the cart page or via your browser's site-data settings.
Managing your choice
You can change your decision at any time using the "Show the cookies bar" button on this page, and you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. For how we handle personal data generally, see our Privacy Policy.
